Mrs. Powell

My name is Korey Powell, and I teach 9th-12th grade Literature. My favorite thing about teaching high school is the level of critical thinking and the depth of study we can get into with topics that students are passionate about. 

 

I am from Thomasville originally but now live in Bainbridge. I am married with 2 young children who keep me on my toes every day just as much as my students do. I graduated with both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from VSU, and I am now working on my Specialist degree. I have been with SCCA since we opened and look forward to being here for many many more years and continuing to see these students learn and grow.
