Building Our Future
We are excited to share continued progress on the future home of Spring Creek Charter Academy.
All architectural plans have officially been submitted for permitting, marking a major milestone as we move from planning to action. Pending final approvals, contractors are expected to mobilize on site by the middle of March.
Construction is projected to be completed by July 1, 2027, positioning us for a strong start in our new facility for the 2027–2028 school year.
We will also welcome our bond investors to campus on February 25, highlighting that this project is financed through a tax-exempt revenue bond rather than local tax dollars. Because Georgia charter schools do not receive local tax funding, including E-SPLOST revenues, for building construction, their facilities must be financed independently and supported by revenue received directly from the state.
Project Partners
We are proud to be working alongside an experienced and dedicated team:

- Bond Issuer: Development Authority of Bainbridge and Decatur County
This project represents a transformational investment in our students, families, and the future of education in our region. We are grateful for the continued support of our community and look forward to sharing more updates as progress continues.
Stay tuned as we break ground and begin building the next chapter of SCCA. The school plans to hold a formal groundbreaking ceremony in April.
Spring Creek Charter Academy Unveils Renderings of New School Building
Spring Creek Charter Academy ( SCCA) is proud to share the official architectural renderings for its permanent school building, marking an exciting milestone in the school’s growth and commitment to students and families in Decatur, Seminole, Miller, and Grady Counties.
The first phase of construction will include a modern classroom building designed to serve all grade levels, with dedicated wings for K-3, 4-8, and 9-12 students. The plans also feature a gymnasium and cafeteria to support both academics and school life.
Future phases will bring even more opportunities for students, with athletic fields and a field house planned to enhance SCCA’s extracurricular and athletic programs.
