About Me

Welcome to SCCA!
I can't wait to start our Kindergarten journey together.

Hey Stallion Family!!! My name is Teresa Earp Odom. I earned my Associate’s degree at Bainbridge College and my Bachelor’s degree at Thomas University. I earned my Master’s and Specialist degrees in Curriculum and Instruction at Nova Southeastern University.  I have two adult children, Brandi Adams and Michael Odom. I also have two grandchildren. Brantley Odom,  who is is five, and Josey Odom, who is two years old. I love spending time with my children and grandchildren. You will often see me around Bainbridge with one or more of my little side-kicks!  I am delighted to join the SCCA faculty as a Kindergarten teacher and I can’t wait to begin the work of meeting our Stallions’ academic and social/emotional needs. It is my belief that SCCA has a great deal to offer scholars, parents, and the community. I have been teaching for twenty years and have taught in a variety of grade levels, including K, 1st, 3rd, and 4th. This will be my fourth year in Kindergarten. I absolutely love teaching kindergarten and watching my babies grow, develop, and learn. I am passionate about reading instruction and nothing thrills me more than transforming a Kindergartner into an enthusiastic reader. I’m so excited to meet my new SCCA kindergarteners! It’s going to be a great year!🖤💛🖤
