Enrollment » Enrollment

The only criteria for enrolling in Spring Creek Charter Academy is to live in one of the three counties served; Decatur, Miller, and Seminole.  If the school has less spaces available than students applying for enrollment, a random lottery will be held to determine which students will be enrolled.  To learn more about enrollment in SCCA see the Enrollment Policy below.

To apply for enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year, the Pre-Enrollment Form below must be completed and returned to the school. You may email forms to enrollment@sccak12.net mail them to the school with “Attention to Marisa Jasinski”, or drop them off at the school. Completed forms must be received by 3PM, Friday, January 10, 2020 to be included in the lottery. The lottery will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 6PM in the SCCA lunchroom.

  • Students already enrolled in SCCA (with the exception of Pre-K) do NOT have to complete this form to remain enrolled for next year. Existing students remain enrolled from year to year unless a parent withdraws the student.
  • Students in the SCCA Pre-K must complete pre-enrollment for Kindergarten. We stressed this point last year during Open Enrollment.  The Pre-K is not a part of our charter contract.  Unfortunately, by law, we are not allowed to give them priority into Kindergarten.  Parents enrolling students in Pre-K should keep this in mind for next year, as well
  • Siblings of existing SCCA students will get priority in the lottery. However, you must still complete a pre-enrollment form for the new student.  Be sure to complete the sibling section to ensure priority.
***Please maintain documentation that the school received your pre-enrollment application.  If you hand-deliver you should receive a "receipt notification" from the Record's Clerk.  If you email, please keep the response email stating the application was received.  If you mail your application, you should follow up with a call to ensure it was received if you do not receive a receipt notification by mail.
